Great food, very reasonable price (39 for two lobsters, chips, pickles and bread) which feeds one person well. The clam chowder soup is superb, and all in a down-home Maine atmosphere.
We were so lucky to have found Nunan's Lobster Hut before they closed for the season. Such a cute place, great service, food was delicious, after we had tried the Clam Shack and was beyond disappointed. The waitress was so sweet, the food delicious, we had a lobster roll, with chips and pickle, and clam chowder. Absolutely what I was looking for in Maine. Delicious! Highly recommend!

Here on vacation with my wife and loved this place. The lobster was so fresh and tasted great! Also the clam steamer was amazing ! We both got clam chowder as well which was also great! The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the shrimp cocktail—kind of small (only five shrimp) and kind of meh. Still, such a special place!

Ate here twice in two days. You can’t go wrong. Hit the jackpot this time with three lobster special. What a great place When you want to feel and eat like a local this is the place to go. They only take cash so plan accordingly. You will get a great meal at a fair price. 71 years of business and still going strong, rustic and authentic come to mind. This isn’t your father’s Red Lobster so don’t come dressed for church. You’re gonna need to roll up your sleeves and get your bib on. For those afraid of lobster in the shell I’m told the lobster chowder is good but why bother when you can eat the real thing. And make sure to save room for the daily home baked blue berry pie ala mode. It’s the only good reason not to order a fourth lobster.
Service was perfect and very personalized! Our waitress spent a lot of time explaining the menu with us, and also advised the best way to remove the shell off the lobsters. The lobsters were very fresh & sweet. Highly recommended for your Maine lobster treat!
